The Nude Interpreted

That classic subject, the nude, has been attempted by artists since the beginning of art. In this exhibition, Staley-Wise shows photographs of male and female nudes by a diverse group of artists, each giving their own interpretation of the nude. From the classical to the naughty this exhibition covers the spectrum of nude photography. The exhibition includes the classicism of Horst, the sensuality of Herb Ritts, and the high-style chic of Wayne Maser, which is represented by large-scale nudes on butcher paper. Other photographers participating include Marco Glaviano with his sleek and elegant nudes, Denis Piel, Robert Doisneau, Herbert Matter,
Helmut Newton, André Kertész,
and Bert Stern.
