About Harry Benson

Harry Benson has been a witness to a great many of the major political and social events in modern history. His work ranges from world leaders to pop stars, all portrayed with an immediacy and naturalness that speaks of a confidence and rapport between sitter and photographer. Born in Glasglow, Scotland, Benson moved to America in 1967. He has received numerous awards and his work has been exhibited extensively. The book "Fifty Years in Pictures" published by Harry N. Abrams, is now available.
